Visit Hamburg's own version of Madame Tussauds, Ponuptikum Wax Museum and get up, close to some of the global renowned figures. At 130-years-old, Panoptikum is Germany's oldest wax museum.
Skip the lines and browse through the waxy wonders on display. Take pictures with national and international celebs like Queen Elizabeth II, Barack Obama, Adele and Marilyn Monroe. You can also head to the Chamber of Horrors, where some of the world's most gruesome events have been reconstructed.
With a massive collection of 120 statues, it is a delight to see some of the wax statues from the 1960s and 1970s that give you insights into how far the art of wax-creating has come.
