Overview

Visit both the Accademia and Uffizi Galleries at your own pace and enjoy informative audio commentary in your language while wondering through the galleries.

Accademia Gallery: Pay tribute to Michelangelo, as you admire his most famous work, the “David,” along with other significant pieces like “I Prigioni,” “San Matteo,” and the “Palestrina Pietà.” Michelangelo spent three years carving David from a massive block of marble, turning it into a stunning symbol of beauty and strength. This statue shows a young man in his prime, radiating power and courage, which reflected the invincibility of the Florentine Republic during its golden age.

Uffizi Gallery: Whether an art lover or not, you can’t leave Florence without visiting the Uffizi, one of the world’s most iconic art galleries. Walk through the hallowed halls, taking in incredible works by legendary artists like Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, and more. The highlight? Botticelli’s masterpieces, "Primavera" and "Birth of Venus." "Birth of Venus" is especially famous, depicting the goddess emerging from the sea, symbolizing pure beauty and spiritual ideals, hallmarks of Renaissance art.

Browse some of the most famous works of art in the world, enjoying fascinating stories and trivia about the masterpieces, and make the most of your visit, all at your own speed.
